uni stuffs.
i've decided to go with SMU, my dad's first choice. and prob mine.. after weeks of pondering. im still slapping myself because i have not even considered NTU in the first place.. and so many people are going there. people i know, so that life wun be that bad. but being the stupid me, i din even apply for it. sigh. oh wells. too late.
SMU isnt that bad i guess. althou i've been warned that there is really ZERO campus lifestyle, because people dun stay back and mix and hang ard, they straightaway go to town and spend them with their clique. well, i guess im alright with it. after all, my sense of belonging is always with the NH peeps. as for the humongous amt of project work that will ultimately lead to backstabbing and ugly claim to fame and underhand tactics.. it will help to get exposed to them in uni life before i step out into the corporate world.. yea, see? am i being optimistic or plain dumb?
getting used to stuff isnt a good thing. sometimes you're upset over certain stuff and refuse to let it get to you? you tell yourself, "nvm, xi guan jiu hao" and it doesnt feel that bad anymore. but gettting used to it just isnt the solution. you gotta face it. but sometimes, it's easier said than done.
